With more than three decades of experience in civil engineering, construction management, and transportation business development, Geoff Covalt has built a reputation for technical excellence and strong client partnerships. A Texas Tech engineering graduate and licensed Professional Engineer since 2000, his career spans public‑sector roles with ODOT, as well as construction leadership and executive oversight positions.
Since 2015, he has helped lead transportation business development at CEC, expanding opportunities across Oklahoma, Texas, and surrounding states while supporting strategic growth across multiple practices. CEC’s commitment to Get Stuff Built Right® aligns deeply with his own philosophy: if you don’t have time to do it right, you don’t have time to do it twice.
Outside his professional work, he is most proud of his family–a testament, he says, to his wife’s strength and love. His children are thriving, and his two grandchildren are the joy of his life.
