Our Leadership

  • President

    Marty Hepp is President of CEC. He has been with CEC since 1989. Mr. Hepp has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He and his wife, Donna, have two daughters, Alisha and Kristi, and four grandchildren. In his free time, Mr. Hepp enjoys cycling and restoring old Porsches. He also spends his free time volunteering in discipleship programs for CEC leaders, as well as giving to the philanthropic causes that are supported by CEC Civil Servants.

  • Chief Financial Officer

    Craig Ireland is Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer for CEC.  He has been with CEC since 2015.  Mr. Ireland has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, and Commercial Bank Management from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.  He and his wife, Meredith, have two sons, Tucker and Cooper.  In his free time, Mr. Ireland enjoys traveling, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family.  

  • Chief Operations Officer

    Doug Glenn is Chief Operations Officer and has been with CEC since 2004. Mr. Glenn graduated from Oklahoma State University with a  Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He and his wife Christina have two daughters, Lilli, and Coley Rae. In his free time Mr. Glenn enjoys watching Oklahoma State athletics, coaching YMCA basketball, and gardening with his wife. 

  • Chief People Officer

    Maria Wilson is the Chief People Officer for CEC. She has been with CEC since 1998. Mrs. Wilson has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Oklahoma Baptist University. She and her husband Greg have two children, daughter Marilee, and son Micah. Mrs. Wilson enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

  • Chief Business Development Officer

    Steven Johnson is Chief Business Development Officer for CEC. He has been with CEC since 2001. Mr. Johnson is originally from Oklahoma City and has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University. He and his wife Erin, have two daughters, Claire and Lauren. In his free time, Mr. Johnson enjoys watching Oklahoma State athletics, Oklahoma City Thunder basketball, and playing volleyball.  

  • Transportation Market Leader

    Geoff Covalt is the Market Leader of Oklahoma Transportation for CEC. He has been with the company since 2015. He has spent most of his career in transportation related construction as an inspector for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Regional Manager of a multi-state paving contractor, owner of a paving company, and Vice President responsible for construction management in a multi- state region for a large international firm.  Geoff earned a Bachelor of Science of Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University. He and his wife Shana have one daughter, Reagan, and two sons, Cooper and Cade.  Geoff enjoys bird hunting, watching his boys play sports, his daughter play the piano and perform in productions, and watching high school sports.

     

  • Oklahoma Market Leader

    Josh Dougherty is an Oklahoma Market Leader for CEC and has been with the company since 2015. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is licensed in the State of Oklahoma, and is also a LEED accredited professional and is a board member for the Oklahoma Chapter of SMPS.  Born and raised here in Oklahoma City, he is a husband, a father of two daughters, enjoys spending time with his family outdoors and working on his classic early Bronco.

  • Oklahoma Market Leader

    Randall Knowles is the Market Leader for the Oklahoma Power Market. He has been with CEC since 2011. Mr. Knowles previously worked as a designer and coordinator in the Distribution and Transmission departments at CEC. He is originally from Mascoutah, Illinois and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Olivet Nazarene University. Mr. Knowles and his wife, Sara, enjoy listening to live music, attending sporting events, and taking vacation trips to the beach.

  • Texas Market Leader

    Rick Benson is a Power Market Leader focusing primarily in the state of Texas. Rick has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Southern Methodist University. Rick is a professionally licensed engineer in the State of Texas. Rick’s experience includes over 30 years in the electric utility business including the owner’s perspective and private industry. Rick is originally from Houston, Texas and enjoys golfing with his wife Jeanne and they have one daughter, Andrea.
