LiDAR, or 3D laser scanning, is an innovative survey technology that integrates optical and positioning sensors to collect and generate survey-quality point cloud data. CEC provides both LiDAR data acquisition and data processing services. Having a wide array of data processing tools and software, we can deliver data in multiple point data and CAD formats.

CEC’s vehicle-mounted mobile LiDAR system allows us to map roadway corridors accurately and efficiently. Data acquisition is performed at posted speeds, meaning no required traffic control and increased safety.

Our terrestrial systems collect similar datasets, only from a fixed position. This permits high-density mapping of specific areas or structures, as well as building interiors.
