Clear Creek Substation
CEC designed a new 69kV-26.4kV greenfield substation, new transmission tap line, and distribution underbuild for Western Farmers Electric Cooperative and Cotton Electric Cooperative. The greenfield substation design included the substation and site design. The design of the transmission line was for a 5.5 mile 69kV transmission line designed to 138kV standards connecting Duncan Tap to the new Clear Creek Substation. CEC delivered the plans under an accelerated schedule to meet the schedule opening of the oil and gas plant. CEC coordinated with WFEC, the G&T Cooperative, Cotton Electric, the distribution cooperative, and ONEOK, the customer.
