  • Supports talent acquisition by assisting with sourcing, application process, screenings, new hire paperwork, onboarding, and reporting.
  • Maintains employee data in accounting and HRIS systems.
  • Supports the payroll process by reviewing and verifying time records and requested leave.
  • Fosters employee relations by providing information, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Prepares and maintains individual personnel records; maintains confidential records and filing systems.
  • Processes training and/or conference registrations and makes travel arrangements, as necessary.
  • Compiles data and prepares reports as directed.
  • Assists with audits as necessary to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintains files of source documentation and other information related to HR activities.
  • Provides administrative support for Human Resources or other Practices as needed.
  • Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned.

  • Two to five years related experience and/or training with interest in obtaining SHRM-CP or HRCI credentials.
  • English language skills:  ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, team members, and candidates.
  • Mathematical skills:  ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Reasoning skills: ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Organizational skills:  ability to prioritize and organize tasks; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.


  • Sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with the fingers, and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
  • Ability to sit up to eight hours per day.
  • Ability to manipulate computer mouse up to eight hours per day.
  • Ability to see clearly 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more; ability to identify and distinguish colors; ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds occasionally.


  • Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office/production setting with adequate ventilation.
  • Moderate noise.
  • Frequent interruptions


  • Fixed schedule of 40 hours per week between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Occasional overtime may be required.
  • Eligible to submit applications for telecommuting and/or alternative schedule after 90 days.
