Controller

Amber Steel joined CEC in July 2011 and serves as the Controller for the firm. She received an MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma and holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Management from Southern Nazarene University. Amber also serves on the board of directors for the Oklahoma chapter of WTS, an organization focused on advancing the role of women in the transportation industry. She is deeply committed to service, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and she is energized by opportunities to support others, strengthen operational efficiency, and contribute to collective success. Acting as a resource for colleagues and leadership is where she finds the most purpose in her work, and she believes that effective communication, a positive attitude, and strong teamwork are foundational to any high‑performing organization.

In her free time, Mrs. Steel enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family, including her husband, Rusty, and their two children. She is passionate about helping others—especially children experiencing poverty—and regularly participates in community outreach efforts and seeks opportunities to support local organizations making a meaningful difference.
